On Wednesday September 19th, Dibor Disciples arrived from across the globe.
The dorms were full of life, as students moved in their belongings, and beds were assembled. There was such a welcoming spirit, that smiles were on every face, and excitement seemed to have been spilled into everyone.
We are honored to welcome our international Disciples:
Sian from Myanmar, Marty from Germany and Michael from Costa Rica.
They have endured a lot in the past week, with food changes, language barriers, and getting used to the American culture. But through it all, their hunger for the Lord has not been quenched.
We also welcome our National Disciples:
Brittany, Nathaniel, Victoria, Hillary, and Chrystelle who is a staff member with Dibor.
On Friday September 21st, the first Dibor conference started with Brad and Robin Ringer.
Students were challenged on being submissive to God. And learning that they are the Bride of Christ, and to know Jesus in a deeper way then before.
Sessions were held in different places, some at New Life Christian Church, Lyric Coffee House, and even in the dorms dining area. But wherever a session was held, the Spirit of the Lord was always present.
Relationships are being formed, and team work is becoming essential. This is an exciting time for Dibor, and we cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store.
