The graduating class of 2009 is in their final week at Dibor. Attention turns from studies to “deep cleaning” the dorms, preparing the grounds for a summer rest, and the new class in the fall. Graduation weekend starts this Friday and concludes on Sunday morning. We are all so proud of this year’s graduates and believe they will do mighty things in the earth for the glory of Jesus!
We are also very excited to announce Dibor’s new Directors: Pastor Jaipaul & Sarah Papabithini. Jaipaul has been working around the clock with President Christopher Hopper, Miss Kelly Stone, and Senior Pastor Kirk Gilchist, in program planning for September and recruiting new students. Following his July trip to India, Jaipaul will be relocating his family from Rochester, NY to New Life’s North Campus to complete plans for Dibor’s thrid-year kick off.
We are also highly anticipating Dibor’s new format, including the new Leadership Training Phase (Jan – Feb) added to the 6 month Lecture Phase (Sept – Nov / March – May). Guest speakers are already being booked and we know this will be an incredibly challenging year for the students.
A special thanks goes to this past week’s guest lecturer, Rabbi Jerry Miller, from Daytona, FL. Rabi Jerry pastors Beth Judah Church and comes with a powerful message on Israel, The Church, and The Second Coming. Aside from the students having their minds blown, they were deeply moved by seeing God’s view of Israel, His intent for Her, and the Church’s role in bringing about the return of Jesus as well as revival to the Jewish people.
